Kristen and Kevin truly had the most perfect day imaginable. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they were celebrated in the most beautiful, serene, and sentimental location—her parents' backyard.
This intimate wedding completely sold me on the idea of backyard weddings for the rest of my life. I admired the countless personalized details that were thoughtfully woven into every space throughout their joyous day. Kristin’s father dedicated considerable time and effort to ensure that the yard, plants, and trees were in immaculate shape for the big occasion.
Not only did he serve as the landscaper for the venue, but Kristin’s dad also had the honor of officiating the couple’s heartfelt ceremony. His poignant words of love resonated in the air, capturing hearts and prompting a few tears from those moved by the touching moment. The entire day radiated joy, laughter, and an abundance of love!
Kristen and Kevin collaborated beautifully to create an array of stunning details, from the charming Welcome board adorned with vibrant flowers to the vintage window panes filled with treasured photos that showcased memorable moments from their relationship. I was in complete awe of everything they crafted together. Their shared passion for traveling to different National Parks was evident, with charming details from their adventures seamlessly integrated into their wedding decor. The table numbers were actually photo postcards from various parks they have explored together, while Kevin’s flask featured a topographical map of the very park where he proposed. To top it all off, the cake topper was a delightful sign inspired by the National Park signs seen all over the country. How fun and creative! This entire day was absolutely fabulous from start to finish!
