Old Stone Chapel + Firestone Country Club Wedding | Rachel + Michael

Rachel and Michael’s July wedding at The Old Stone Chapel in Canton was everything a bride could dream of. The chapel is a beautiful, historic church available to all couples not matter their faith. Michael’s father officiated the ceremony with the kindest, heart felt sermon celebrating the love between his son, Rachel and all of their loved ones. He talked about the support that young couples deserve from family and friends and how happy he is to welcome Rachel into their family.
After a few tears, some laughter and their sweet vows, they were walking up the aisle, hand-in-hand as husband and wife!
They exited the church with a bang… literally! Her Mom surprised them with confetti cannons at the exit and it was so much fun! That is a great way to celebrate their new marriage with all of their guests.
The wedding party climbed on the bus and met us at Firestone Country Club in Canton for their reception. Their wedding party photos were taken on grounds of this beautiful course. The landscape lent itself to making it all so picturesque. The party left on golf carts while we finished up the portraits of the newly married couple. I love these quiet moments, when they can just be still in the moment and enjoy some time alone.
Inside, the party was on! The drinks, the food and the dancing were all incredible! Rachel’s Dad got his opportunity to show his love for the couple with his very touching speech. There were a few giggles and a few tears, but it was filled with so much love. And I have to give the Mom’s some much deserved attention for all of their hard work not only in helping with the wedding, but for raising such incredible people. (I always feel like Moms get a bit left out sometimes at weddings and they deserve a little extra love.)
I am so incredibly happy that I was able to be part of this journey with you both. The entire day was so full of love and joy, just know that every moment was memorable and so lovely. Congratulations to Mr. + Mrs. Millard!
